Hey guys and gals!

So excitement!!! Paulini’s new single is finally on sale in stores as of this moment.  So we can all rush out there and snap them up ‘fore they disappear off the shelves!! But before you go scooting off happily out the door and head off to your fave discount CD store – PLEASE read this page and give all this some thought. It would be great to see So Over You  way up the top of the charts so you dont want to waste your purchase!!!

For those who missed this info last year, or who’ve forgotten,  there are some IMPORTANT things to know about the ARIA charts when you’re buying Paulini’s music.

First of all, not all retail outlets have their sales of CDs counted toward the ARIA charts. Check out THIS ARTICLE   to find out where to buy Paulini’s CD so that your purchase DOES count toward the chart sales. (But make sure you read the rest of this page first or come back here and finish reading this.)

Note that the ONLY  internet  sales sites that count are:

Sanity
Whammo (ed: these guys seem to have gone bust – their online shop is closed)
Chaos  (ed: I can’t find Rough Day on their site)

(NB: NOT HMV – excepting over the counter sales -  and NOT online BigPond downloads etc)

K-Mart, Big W  and Target store sales DO count toward ARIA sales! 

Sales are not counted until the actual official release date. So, dont buy the single before then,  even if it hits the stores early or they will not count towards the ARIA charts. I dont know how that works with pre-purchases on-line but to be on the safe side, I wouldn’t hand over any money until the actual date of release.

More than 2 CDs are only counted as ONE sale. ONLY buy one or two CDs at a time. For some reason, anything higher than 2 CDs in one purchase is regarded as a "multiple sale" and will only count as one CD sale, no matter how many you buy. To avoid this problem when you go into a store to buy several CDs ask the sales person to ring up each one as a separate purchase or (if the sales person won’t do that or you’re too shy to ask) just buy one at a time, preferably from different stores or from the same store at different times. So if you want to buy Paulini’s new single for family or friends remember this important though somewhat ridiculous, ARIA rule.

Be aware that sales to addresses overseas are NOT COUNTED. If you live OS and want to buy her single or album  perhaps consider getting someone in Australia to have it sent to their address and then send it to you.

So, in a nutshell:

1. Check the list of ARIA retailers to find out where to buy the CD CLICK HERE

2. Don’t give an overseas delivery address 

3. Don’t purchase more than 2 CDs in one transaction.
