This year the Festival’s headline acts include Paulini, Australia’s number one DJ – Nino Brown, Israel, V Tribe and 2007 Australian Idol contestant, Joseph Gatehau.
The Festival will feature three massive music stages, basketball, skateboard and break dancing competitions, art workshops, a huge X-Treme car exhibition, food and information stalls, amusement rides, short film screenings and so much more!
The Bring It On! Youth Festival has a green theme this year, with the event site powered solely by green power and biodegradable plates used at food stalls.
Every year, young volunteers aged between 12 and 25 help create and run the festival. The volunteers are trained in festival and event management, public relations, risk management as well as Occupational Health and Safety skills. This year there are more than 100 volunteers from Fairfield City and south-west Sydney contributing to the Festival.
“Every year, the Bring it On! Youth Festival is a success because it allows young people to come together and enjoy a really vibrant and energetic atmosphere,” says the Mayor of Fairfield City, Nick Lalich.
“I encourage young people from across Sydney to join in the fun at The Bring it on! Youth Festival,” says the Mayor.
The Bring It On! Youth Festival is organised by Fairfield City Council and sponsored by Stockland Wetherill Park, LOUD!, Telstra, Cabravale Diggers Club, Mounties, Rhinos-Energy and Cabramatta Leagues.
