Desperate stylist

If an obscure "stylist" takes the time to tell an anonymous gossip columnist for a second rate newspaper that she doesn't like the dress you wore 3 weeks ago (even though it was gorgeous!!!) do you think that means you've made the Big Time???

Seems Paulini is hot property these days and what better what to get your name in the paper than by making some comment or other on her clothes and appearance (after all, it worked for Dicko!).

I'm not printing the name of the stylist in question (she can darn well PAY for advertising just like the rest of us have to!!) but she's not someone I've ever heard of and running her name in a google search brings up a big fat NOTHING.  But I'm sure she's important to someone.

Anyway, in honour of all the fuss being made lately about Paulini's appearance (when – oh WHEN – will they focus on her singing???) and particularly for the "stylist" herself, I have created a little pic of Paulini in the tradition of the Sun Herald who recently published a "side-by-side" of Paulini to highlight how FANTASTIC she looks lately. One side was the lean, leather-clad Paulini from the RockNRoll night at ITT and on the other was that ancient but famous gold-dress picture from Australian Idol.

In my picture though, I've removed the gold dress pic (honestly, it's been done to death) and replaced it with a little something of my own creation. here it is:

{mosimage}I sincerely hope Paulini will consider wearing that outfit some time soon. Obviously I have doctored a photo to make it look like she's wearing it – but how cool would it be if she actually did show up at an event with it on.

Paulini honey! If you're reading this – first of all, don't worry about those silly stylists with nothing better to do than invent stories to get publicity. You look gorgeous. End of story.

Secondly, that T-shirt is actually a real design-  by Boy George. Admittedly I've messed around with it and made it a bit comic-bookish. But it's based on the real thing. You can pick up your own Stylists Suck T-Shirt for a "steal" – (no – literally a STEAL  – the price is daylight robbery)  from his B-Rude label website HERE

WARNING: some of the content on the BRude site (particularly the "models" section) may offend some people, others might really like it. Wink

And speaking of things that suck, I'm getting ideas about a new range of clothes featuring major recording labels – especially if Paulini's album doesn't see the light of day in the next couple of weeks.
