It Takes Two

Excellent performance last night of Fly Me To The Moon by Paulini and her partner Simon – he's not a bad singer at all. I think their scores were a bit low but that's what happens when you go first – the judge's have nothing to use as a bench mark – except you! Well done guys!

For those who missed it or live overseas – watch her sing with Simon HERE! (thanks to vindiezel) You will need to register an account there to see all of it.

It Takes Two

UPDATE: Paulini will be on Channel 7′s Sunrise show, Wednesday morning (17 May) performing live at the Thank You event in Beaconsfield, Tasmania.

There’s a lot of buzz in the media about Paulini starring in a new television show on Channel 7 called It Takes Two which features professional singers teaching other ordinary celebs how to sing.

The new show was announced during the finale of Dancing With the Stars when Paulini performed This Time I Know It’s For Real with the Young Divas. Darryl Sommers briefly spoke to Paulini and asked her about the new show’s name. Paulini replied "It’s called Just the Two of Us" and had to be corrected by Darryl. While this seemed like a total "blonde moment" for Paulini, it makes more sense when you know that the show is actually modelled on a British show called Just the Two of Us and was originally going to use the same title.

Paulini will be pairing up with cricketer Michael Bevan who met her for the first time at the DWTS final show. Other celebs are yet to be announced but it is confirmed that Guy Sebastian will also be coaching someone and the show will feature a range of musical styles including pop, RnB and country. Rumour is that Grant "the weatherman" Denyer will host the show.

Should be an interesting exercise. But when it’s all over, I’d like to see a show about Michael teaching Paulini to play cricket.
