Well at last we have official confirmation that Paulini will be performing at the New Year’s Eve celebrations in Darling Harbour.
She’s been mentioned in the television advertisement and this today from the Herald Sun:
Gretel Killeen and Tripping Over actor Daniel MacPherson, as the hosts of Channel 10′s New Year’s Eve special, will present two one-hour programs from the Sydney Opera House, culminating in a light and fireworks display.
The programs will feature interviews with revellers, predictions for 2007 and performances by Paulini and The Whitlams.
It will be broadcast on Channel 10 on Sunday night from 8.30 to 9.30 and then again from 11.30 to 12.30. Hopefully it will also be broadcast on one of the regional networks. Unfortunately, it seems Big Brother “celebrities” will also feature heavily in the broadcast so you might have to have a mute button handy 
Paulini will then head off to the Civic Hotel to perform at the Booty Bar at 12.30.
