QUICK UPDATE: 23 Nov 2006
So Over You (co-written by Paulini) has been out of the Urban Top Singles Chart for two weeks now. Looks like it's finally finished it's run after 23 weks. Not a bad run for a girl's first self-penned ditty!
ANOTHER UPDATE!!! 6 November 2006
{mosimage}OH MY GOD!!! I can't stop grinning here. Paulini's single – So Over You has RE-ENTERED THE URBAN CHART AGAIN!!!
Granted it's only popped back in at number 39 but this is the second time its come back in and this now marks her 23rd week in the Urban Top 40 singles chart. Both times it's only dropped out for a week and last time it re-entered at 21. And all this while Sony/BMG have abandoned her Official Site and her solo career so the single's been getting zero promotion. Incredible!
That song just wont quit.
If you don't have it yet – go out and buy it and be part of this unusual popping in and out of the charts thing she's doing. We might as well join in the fun!
I'm tempted to go buy it again myself just because this is so bizarre!
WELL DONE GIRL! 
PS Just imagine how she'd be doing in the charts if Sony/BMG were putting some energy into her solo career. The mind boggles!

So Over You Bows Out
UPDATE: 30th Oct 2006: The Urban Top SIngles Chart is significantly the poorer this week as Paulini's single So Over You has dropped out once again after a quietly achieving 22 weeks in the Urban chart. It would be nice if it popped back in again like it did a few weeks ago, but in any case, she deserves BIG CONGRATS for her first self-penned single doing so well. Pity the rest of the industry doesn't acknowledge her solo successes.
Can't wait for Paulini's management to start putting some real effort into her solo career one day… I fear I might be waiting a very long time though.
UPDATE 18 Oct 23006: This week Paulini's So Over You track is at number 31, in it's 21st week in the Urban Singles chart!

ORIGINAL STORY (5 October 2006)
Paulini's single – So Over You – is STILL SELLING after 20 weeks (yes, thats FIVE MONTHS) of being out there. And for the 19th week, it's still sitting pretty in the Urban Top 40 Singles Chart which means it continues to make steady (if not spectacular) sales.
SOY has been moving up and down the Urban chart regularly, one week it dropped out altogether only to pop back in again at number 21 the following week. It moved slowly down over the next few weeks but hasn't dropped out again since.
And this week (5 October 2006) Paulini can celebrate once again because once more – it's moved back UP to number 29 from 34 last week.
This kind of steady long term sales is vitally important for the credibility of a performer. Paulini hasn't failed with her very first A side release of an original track (as some would have you believe). Far from it! The song just keeps going and going.{moscomment}
